Si vais a Indymedia Sydney [indymedia.org] ahí también les citaron este texto. Copio una respuesta que me parece muy interesante:

    Propaganda strategy

This article provides a perfect example of some of the typical strategies used by conservative propaganda.

    1. The blind them with science approach. Make the propaganda very long and contain masses of detail. Include a long section of references. Desired impression is that the author is an intellectual giant who obviously knows much more than the reader.

    2. Attack the wilder claims approach. Most progressive ideas have a central argument supporting them - in this case that eating meat is murder as Alison just suggested - and a number of other arguments which some of the idea's champions have suggested to bolster the main argument. Quite often some of the secondary ideas are pretty out there.

The conservative progaganda typically ignores the main argument, instead focusing on those secondary arguments which are counter intuitive, hard to prove or just plain nonsensical.

    3. Make the progressives who support the idea seem like radical fanatics. This strategy is linked quite highly to the previous one - one wonders whether the goal of refuting the crazier ideas supporting the progressive idea is to support the conservative argument or to just make the idea itself, and the people who champion it, seem silly. The propaganda also sometimes gives examples of the educational work of progressives supporting the idea and paints with in a brainwashing, indoctrination brush. Examples involving schoolchildren or other vulnerable members of society are the best for this.

Note: I am not a vegetarian.
